Gejuan Batson
Gejuan Batson is a certified executive coach with extensive expertise in leadership development, learning and development and leadership roles in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. She also brings insight from her own career transitions to her coaching practice.
Gejuan’s coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone has the potential for leadership and transformation. By collaborating with her clients, she helps them harness their unique strengths, build confidence, and lead authentically in any setting. Gejuan completed her post-graduate education in executive coaching at the Center of Executive Coaching.
Throughout her coaching journey, Gejuan has dedicated herself to assisting leaders at all levels in realizing their full potential through a goal-focused, transformational approach that encourages growth and resilience. Her specialty lies in positive intelligence coaching, enabling clients to enhance their mental fitness, make better decisions, and lead with clarity and purpose.
Gejuan is an alumna of the United States Naval Academy and holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Commercialization from North Carolina State University, as well as a Master’s of Science in Management from Troy University. Additionally, she has earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Villanova University. After graduating from the Naval Academy, Gejuan served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. During her active duty years, she traveled the world, notably participating in the inaugural Africa Partnership Station Operation. In this role, she and her ship’s crew collaborated with African nations to teach them how to uphold maritime safety and security.
Following her military service, Gejuan embarked on a career in the corporate world within the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology sector. Her positions have included Manufacturing Supervisor, Lean Implementation Lead, Associate Director, Global Learning Partner, and Learning and Development Manager for Driven Brands, where she facilitated leadership development and designed training programs for leaders and individual contributors.
Whether the client is navigating leadership challenges, seeking personal transformation, or striving for peak performance, I work with them to create actionable strategies that drive results.
Residing in Raleigh with her two daughters, Gejuan is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and actively engages in her local community by supporting small business development, economic growth, and mentoring young people.
